Maui is beginning to have this problem too; the chickens are spreading like rabbits at this point, the County is not doing anything about it except to say, 'get a petition signed to get a law passed restricting chickens from residential areas.' But these chickens are feral, unchecked so their breeding becomes unchecked. They're multiplying at an astonishing rate. The noise levels in residential areas are causing people to loose sleep; tourists are complaining; the State Psychologist said that many people are suffering with mental and physical health problems due to lack of sleep; and the eruption of loud, unpredicable sound. I am glad to know someone else, other than myself, is actively working to solve this problem.
